Assistant Professor Dr. Roula Amer is a Dermatologist with over 15 years of experience in both general and aesthetic dermatology as well as in dermatosurgery. She joined American Hospital Dubai in 2012, has completed her Facharzt (German board) in Dermatology in 2006 from Goethe University in Frankfurt. She worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at Medical Care Centers in Frankfurt, Germany.

Scope OF Practice
- All aspects of skin, hair and nail diseases
- Skin cancer screening and mole mapping
- Biological therapy for treatment of severe resistant cases of Psoriasis, Atopic Dermatitis, Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria.
- Removal of benign lesions( cysts, lipomas, moles) and cancerous lesions( melanotic and non- melanotic)
- Various cosmetic procedures including Botulinum toxin, fillers, plateletes rich plasma PRP injections,mesotherapy, microneedling, chemical peel, radio frequency, laser treatments (fractional, ablative and vascular), and non invasive fat freezing and body contouring.
