Dr. Maha Aljundi is a Dermatology Consultant and cosmetologist. She holds the Swedish Board in Dermatology and Venereology and brings over 15 years of international experience in both clinical dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Aljundi was born in Syria, where she earned her medical degree from Damascus University and completed her specialization in dermatology in 2009. Early in her career, Dr. Aljundi worked at a governmental hospital and ran her own private dermatology clinic in Damascus, providing care for a wide range of skin conditions.
Dr. Maha Aljundi’s professional journey has taken her across Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Sweden, allowing her to work in diverse healthcare settings and deepen her expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Since 2015, she has been based in Sweden, where she has worked in both public hospitals and private clinics. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating simple and complex skin diseases, with a particular interest in the early detection and management of skin cancer.
In addition, she has a strong background in cosmetic dermatology, including Botox and dermal fillers, various laser treatments (for pigmentation, vascular lesions, scarring, and rejuvenation), and skin rejuvenation procedures such as microneedling and chemical peels.
She focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care by integrating therapeutic and aesthetic approaches to improve both skin health and appearance.
